Ingredients

  • Rice 300 gram
  • Green Chili 4 to 5
  • Curry leaves 3 to 5
  • Dry red Chili 4 to 5
  • Mustard Seeds 1 table spoon (tbsp)
  • Coconut Powder 4 table spoon (tbsp)
  • White Butter 3 table spoon (tbsp)
  • Coriander 1/4 bunches
  • Asafetida 1/2 tea spoon (tsp)
  • Salt to taste
  • Cashew nut as required
  • Water 3 cup

Coconut rice is originated from south Asian countries and from Latin America; the dish is very famous as it gives a taste of coconut while eating rice

Recipe Instructions

  1. Add 300g boiled rice in a mixing bowl along with 4-5green chilies, 3-5curry leaves, 4-5 dry red chili,1tbsp mustard seeds, 4 tbsp coconut powder, 3 tbspwhite butter, chopped coriander, ½ tea spoon (tsp) asafetida, salt to taste , water and cashew nuts .Mix well
  2. Take a microwave bowl add the mixture into the bowl along with 3 cups water Microwave in Orient Micro Chef on high mode for 15 minutes
  3. Serve hot
